Umrah Badal

Umrah Badal

‘Umrah Badal’, similar to Hajj Badal, is where an individual performs Umrah on another person’s behalf. However, whilst Hajj is a compulsory obligation, Umrah is optional but very much encouraged and extremely rewarding.

A woman came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, “My mother had vowed to perform Hajj but she died before performing it. May I perform Hajj on my mother’s behalf?”. The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, “Perform Hajj on her behalf. Had there been a debt on your mother, would you have paid it or not? So, pay Allah’s debt as He has more right to be paid.”

All our Umrahs are performed under the direct supervision of an executive Shari’a committee that is present in the holy land. Our Sharia committee, which consists of qualified and specialized Islamic scholars train, visit and inspect candidate eligibility and document the entire process.

At Lands of Haram, we believe in complete transparency, therefore, wherever possible, we try to fulfil and satisfy all requests to the best of our ability. Upon booking an Umrah Badal, you shall receive a receipt and confirmation email to verify your order, we then ask for 7 to 10 days to allow us to complete the Umrah. Educated and qualified representatives are then appointed to complete the Umrah.

Those that will be representing from Makkah shall make the intention at Masjid Aisha, whilst individuals representing you from Madinah shall make the intention at Masjid Dhul Hulayfah. Picture/video evidence of which will be provided so you can rest assured that the intention has been made for yourselves or your loved ones. Photographic/video proof shall also be provided either at the start or end of tawaf and finally once again upon the completion of the 7 rounds of Safa and Marwa to certify the fulfilment of the Umrah.
