Celebrate the birth of your new-born and share the joy with those in need living in Makkah and Madinah.

The Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Two sheep, which resemble one another, are to be sacrificed for a boy, and one sheep for a girl”.

Aqeeqah is a means of showing gratitude to Allah and the sunnah of the prophet (ﷺ). Aqeeqah is a means of ridding the child of Shaytaan and seeking protection from evil, by the will of Allah.

At Lands of Haram, Aqeeqah is performed all year round.

The preferable method for Aqeeqah is for it to be performed on the 7th day of the child’s birth, if this is not possible then it may be done on the 14th or 21st and so on (going up in 7-day intervals). However, it should not be delayed deliberately.

Note: As part of the Aqeeqah ritual & Sunnah, £10 is given in Sadaqah at the market price of silver, this easily covers the required value equal to the weight in silver of your child’s hair. Aqeeqah will be performed within 3 to 7 days of confirmation.

Upon confirmation of booking, you are considered to have delegated the performance of the ritual to Lands of Haram, thus Islamically discharged of any obligation and shall receive your full reward. However, Lands of Haram will also provide full confirmation of your order and further updates accordingly once the order has been completed.

Lands of Haram select beneficiaries of the Qurbani programme through an essential’s assessment carried out by the team on the field. Those who will receive Qurbani are:
